Acceptable Use Policy
The short version
Don't upload or generate content that is illegal, infringes on someone else's rights, or that you wouldn't want a stranger to see. Everything you process here stays on your device — which means the responsibility for it is fully yours.
1. Why this policy exists
Some simulations on lab.bycracus accept images you load from your device. Although nothing is uploaded to a server and we cannot see what you load, you may still record a clip and post it publicly. This policy explains what you must not bring to the site and what you may not record.
2. You must not upload or record
- Copyrighted material you don't have rights to. Photos, artwork, screenshots, logos, or stills from films, games, or any other work you didn't make and aren't licensed to use.
- Sexual content involving minors. Any depiction, real or generated, is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities if we become aware of it.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn") or any sexual content of a person who has not clearly consented to that use.
- Content that depicts or incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or hatred against any group on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
- Personal data of others without consent — faces, ID documents, private messages, or anything else identifiable.
- Malware, exploits, or anything designed to harm a viewer's device.
- Content that violates the law where you are or where your audience is.
3. By uploading, you confirm
- You own the image, or have explicit permission from whoever does.
- The image complies with the rules in section 2.
- You are solely responsible for any clip you record using it and for what you do with that clip afterwards.
The site shows a consent checkbox before opening the file picker. Ticking that checkbox is your affirmation of the points above.
4. What lab.bycracus can and cannot do
We do not see your uploads. They are processed entirely inside your browser. That means we cannot pre-screen, scan, or moderate the content you bring to the site. The technical inability to police uploads is precisely why this policy puts the responsibility on you.
If you encounter a clip recorded through lab.bycracus elsewhere on the web that you believe violates this policy (for example, a clip using your copyrighted image, or content involving a minor), please contact us via bycracus.com so we can document the incident and, where possible, work with the relevant platform on takedown.
5. Consequences
Violating this policy is a violation of the Terms of Use. Because there are no accounts, there is nothing for us to suspend — but you may be exposing yourself to civil or criminal liability under the laws of your jurisdiction. We may cooperate with law enforcement requests where required by law.
6. Reporting
To report misuse or copyright infringement, contact us via bycracus.com. Include URLs of the offending content (if hosted elsewhere) and any context that helps us act.
